About us

Hi! I am Thys and I have been working on this site with my son and wife for a while now. We love flags and find them fascinating. Not just because of the "Fun with Flags" from the Big Bang Theory! 

We live in South Africa and love our country and its beautiful flag. Our whole family is very patriotic and despite the challenges that come with South African life, we are also extremely proud of our country and its wonderful people. 

Flags have so many emotions that they evoke, including pride, joy, sadness, anger and everything in between. 

We are not here to tell anyone how to feel about their flag or that of other countries or movements. We just want to share our love of them with everyone else. 

There are amazing stories behind all of them and they have helped shaped communities, groups and whole countries! 

Our company employs people from South Africa only and our goal is to create more and more opportunities for our people to learn and grow in the online world. The people of Africa are amazing in so many ways and we love our people. 

Opportunities have just not been as plentiful as it should be. In our own little way we are trying to make a difference in all of that. 

We hope you enjoy the information and products we offer on the site and would love to chat with you if you have any interesting ideas that you want to share about flags. 

We stay round about here in South Africa. It is between Pretoria and Johannesburg in Centurion. No, we don't have wild animals running around and we don't live in huts. We live in plain and normal suburbia. 

This is our place, our space and we will always be here, doing our bit to make this beautiful country better for the good people that live here.
